I have black lips with black palms too, that’s how I was born…
I could recollect when I was in primary 3, my class teacher would call me to check my palms and lips followed by series of questions which I never gave an answer to. It got to a point, he solicited to see my parents, their appearance in the school resulted to moan and objection which made him stop that barbaric and abysmal act.
Same thing when I got to high school and institution, lot of folks calls me “fagbo” which literally means “smoker”, because I had black lips with black palms…
Some would say my look is fearsomely menacing, my face is unfriendly and antagonistic because I had black lips.
Now, rather than allowing their words get to me, I’d say to them in response; I am not what you call me because I’m black and bold.
You shouldn’t allow what people say or think about you get to you, you shouldn’t allow anybody make you feel inferior.
We all are wonderfully made, no matter your stature, skin color, height, looks etc.
Always have it in mind that you are the only version of yourself and you can only be you, and not anybody.
Speak wonderfully about yourself and see how relieved and good you will feel.
